About Brian Charles

Brian Charles Tischleder has been a singer songwriter for most of his life. He is currently the lead singer of the band James Curry. His work with James Curry has created international success from Minneapolis to the Netherlands with a international following of serious James Curry fans. Thank you all !!!!!!! Brian Charles is currently releasing a solo acoustic album. Border Town. One guitar one voice. In the tradition of Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen. This artist has tried to express the daily battles of life and life's journey. The characters of these songs tell stories. A mother saying goodbye to her mother. A town saying goodbye to it's boys as they go to war. With the daily battles and triumphs that make life worth living all of these songs came straight from my heart. Throwing it in the wind until it comes back again All my best Brian Charles .

Paul Christian
Inspired by the likes of Chris Isaak (thanked in the liner notes for his advice and inspiration), Orbison, Yoakam and Lovette, Christian has a superb talent for folk songwriting - evidenced in the musical showcase of his 11-track album.  In addition to gently persistent acoustic guitar work, Christian & Co. have added harmonica, keys and slide guitar to the musical medley - although musical rests are equally as important.
